Best Practice Standards for Contaminated Land Assessment
UK regulatory guidance is ever changing. For example there was significant new guidance
change released in 2009 (see publications list below).
TLC monitors the latest regulatory developments so that any benefits are passed onto
to you as soon as possible. TLC utilises (but is not limited to) the following key
UK regulatory guidance and best practice for assessing contaminated land :
Sampling Innovation
Rapid Measurement Techniques: Soil and Groundwater Sampling
TLC Ltd provides innovative on-site / in situ environmental testing techniques. This
approach is much faster and sometimes more competitive than laboratory testing. Rapid
Measurement Techniques (RMT) enables soil and water testing results to be reported
in situ in the field (the same day). Most labs can at best provide a 48 hr turnaround
time and surcharge for this service. The method allows continuous use of manpower
and plant, no set aside times, and a swifter remediation programme. In addition
the method costs are similar or less than normal laboratory methods.
TLC will design and co-ordinate the testing to achieve maximum value for your site
at least cost.
